The highly anticipated Oppo Reno13 series is just around the corner, with an official launch date set for November 25. Thanks to a recent leak, we now have our first glimpse at one of the devices from the upcoming series, and it has certainly sparked some interesting discussions about its design.

A Familiar Design: Reno13 and iPhone 15 Similarities

Digital Chat Station shared an image of the Reno13’s camera island, and it didn’t take long for people to notice its resemblance to the iPhone 15. The rectangular transparent camera island, seamless mold, and similar frame design have drawn immediate comparisons between the two devices. However, upon closer inspection, there are some distinct differences as well.

While the Reno13 appears thinner, it seems to accommodate a third camera, setting it apart from the iPhone 15. Additionally, this design isn’t entirely new within the Oppo family. The previously released Oppo Reno9 series featured a similar vertical camera arrangement, although the island was a different color instead of a protruding panel.

What to Expect from the Oppo Reno13 Series
