iPhone 15 Pro Deals
With the arrival of the new iPhone 16 models, now is the perfect time to grab a deal on the iPhone 15 Pro. Amazon is offering the iPhone 15 Pro 256GB model at a discounted price of €1,130, a significant €200 saving compared to the equivalent iPhone 16 Pro. The 2023 iPhone 15 Pro may have a smaller display and lower-spec cameras, but it’s still an excellent choice and supports Apple Intelligence.
If you’re looking for a larger screen, the iPhone 15 Pro Max 256GB is also on offer for €1,230, a saving of €220 compared to the newer iPhone 16 Pro Max. The 2024 model may have a larger display and a higher-resolution ultra-wide camera, but the older iPhone 15 Pro Max still packs a punch and has the same telephoto camera.
iPad Mini and iPad Air Offers
Apple surprised everyone with an out-of-the-blue refresh of the iPad mini. The new 2024 model features the Apple A17 Pro chip and 8GB of RAM, future-proofing it for Apple Intelligence. It also doubles the base storage to 128GB and adds support for Wi-Fi 6e. With the previous model being three years old, this upgrade ensures the iPad mini can handle the computational demands of AI and stands alone as a mini flagship tablet. It’s available for pre-order now and starts shipping on Wednesday.
If you’re looking for a larger screen, the Apple iPad Air 11 (2024) is a great alternative, offering a bigger display for just €38 more than the mini. However, if you prefer a larger canvas for your creations, the iPad Air 13 (2024) might be the better choice, although it seems the bigger size hasn’t captured the public’s imagination in the same way as its smaller sibling.
It’s worth noting that while the iPad mini has video out capabilities, it’s limited to screen mirroring. If you’re after Stage Manager functionality, you’ll need to opt for one of the M-powered iPads.
Samsung Smartwatches and Kindle Devices
In other deal news, we’re turning our attention to Samsung smartwatches and Kindle e-readers. The Samsung Watch Ultra offers an impressive battery life and is rated for dives up to 100m. For a more stylish and compact option, the Galaxy Watch7 is also a great choice, with the same 1.5″ display and ECG and blood pressure monitoring. Both watches are rated for deep water resistance, with the Watch Ultra leading the way.
Amazon has also unveiled its first color Kindle e-reader, the Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition. With a 7″ display, it offers 300ppi for black and white content and 150ppi for color, making it perfect for reading comic books or highlighting text. If you’re a traditionalist, the new Kindle Paperwhite is also available, offering 16GB of storage in the regular edition and adding wireless charging and a light sensor in the Signature edition.
For those who prefer a larger screen, the Kindle Scribe might be the perfect choice, with its 10.2″ display designed for reading documents and taking notes. It also includes AI features to summarize your handwritten notes and convert them to digital text.
