Hackaholics, which began in 2019, is on a mission to empower young innovators and startups across Nigeria and Africa. In its journey so far, Hackaholics has toured 37 universities, challenging undergraduate students, youth, and startups to create practical tech solutions to real-life problems. The impact has been remarkable, with at least 300,000 lives and businesses launched, backed by over $200,000 in grants from Wema Bank.

A Week of Intense Mentorship and Grand Finale Excitement
The Hackaholics 4.0 grand finale week started with a mentorship program, offering finalists exclusive guidance from industry leaders like Microsoft, KPMG, Samsung, Paystack, Flutterwave, and Dream Space. This was followed by the pre-pitch event on October 5, 2023, where the top 10 contenders emerged. The winners will be announced on Friday, October 6, 2023, by a distinguished panel of judges.

With its Hackaholics initiative, Wema Bank is setting a new standard for holistic banking and financial services in Nigeria. The bank is offering a total of over N50,000,000 in cash prizes across five categories, including a grand prize of N15,000,000.
