Xiaomi Smart Band 9 Pro: Bigger Display, Health Tracking, and More
Xiaomi has just unveiled the latest addition to its best-selling line of wearables with the Smart Band 9 Pro. This new fitness tracker features a larger, squarer screen compared to its non-Pro counterpart, the Smart Band 9. The 1.74-inch AMOLED display offers a resolution of 336×480 and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits, making it easy to read even in direct sunlight. The band measures 43.27 x 32.49 x 10.8 mm and is crafted from aluminum alloy, giving it a sleek and lightweight design at just 24.5g.
In terms of health tracking, the Smart Band 9 Pro includes all the essentials such as heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen level tracking, stress monitoring, and sleep analysis. It also boasts over 150 sports modes, including enhanced tracking for running and swimming. With a 350 mAh battery, the band is rated for up to 21 days of use on a single charge, and it supports NFC, Bluetooth 5.4, and multiple satellite positioning systems for accurate activity tracking.
The Smart Band 9 Pro is compatible with a wide range of smartphones, including those running Android 8 and later, as well as iPhones with iOS 12 and above. Starting at CNY 399 ($56), it offers great value for money, and you can further personalize your band with magnetic quick-release straps (CNY 169/$23) or leather quick-release straps (CNY 99/$13).
Xiaomi Watch S4: Bright AMOLED Display, eSIM Support, and More
Alongside the Smart Band 9 Pro, Xiaomi has also launched the Watch S4, featuring a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a sharp 466×466 resolution and an impressive 2,200-nit peak brightness. Users can also customize the look of their watch with a swappable bezel. The Watch S4 offers 5ATM water resistance, making it suitable for swimming and other water-related activities, and it includes over 150 sport modes to track your workouts.
One of the standout features of the Watch S4 is its eSIM support, allowing users to make calls, listen to music, and access online services without needing their phone. The watch also includes built-in running training courses and AI-driven route planning. Like the Smart Band 9 Pro, the Watch S4 offers health tracking features such as heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen level tracking, and stress monitoring. It also has a dual-mode walkie-talkie function and can be used as an NFC car key in China.
The Xiaomi Watch S4 measures 47.3 x 47.3 x 12 mm and weighs 44.5g, making it a comfortable and stylish companion for your wrist. It starts at CNY 999 ($140) and is compatible with the same wide range of smartphones as the Smart Band 9 Pro.
